I remember being in seventh grade and dreading the poetry section of English Language Arts class. They're short and they don't even make sense I often found myself thinking, but as I grew up and experienced life, when I read poetry again, I saw it through new eyes. Discovering poetry again in my life has helped me heal, and helped me learn so many valuable life lessons.
