1. Out of your comfort zone.
First and foremost, before you do anything in life you need to step out of your little box of comfort and try new things. What's the point of traveling if you don't live a little and try new opportunities? You'll thank yourself over and over again if you live out of comfort zone every once in a while.
2. To the city that never sleeps.
New York has to be one of the most iconic places to travel in this day and age. You can experience a little bit of everything in the city, while getting swept up in the fast paced lifestyle. While you're there take a run through Central Park, see events at night, or hop over to the Metropolitan Museum of Art which has over two million pieces of art to look at. On top of that, your trip to New York wouldn't be complete if you didn't visit the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. Do some research of small iconic places from the movies and go there too!
3. All over Greece.
Right now traveling to Greece will be the easier on your budget since the country is in a little bit of turmoil, but what country isn't? Santorini is one of the most iconic and beautiful places in Greece. It's also where Leah fell in love with Kostos in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. You will really get a slice of Greek culture in Santorini by the cuisine and the amazing architecture and churches. Take a hike through the country at the Samaria Gorge, it's a four to seven hour walk but totally worth it for the views!
4. The Phi Phi Islands.
It's best to travel here between November and January when the air is less humid and the waters are perfect for snorkeling and diving. The islands are near Thailand and hold the best beaches and resorts for miles around. You can rent a long tail boat and boat across the clear waters after you catch some zen in the Yoga classes offered at resorts. This place is basically the slice of paradise you need!
5. Dubai.
Dubai is one of the wealthiest cities in the world that just drips money everywhere you go. The city was built in the middle of desert and has amazing architecture that sets it apart from other cities. The temperatures stay above 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the day and 80 degrees at night. You'll basically be cooking as you enjoy Middle Eastern culture while living lavishly at resorts.
6. Pompeii.
Located near Italy, the town was covered in ash and soot from the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius centuries ago. It is one of the few places in history that has stayed preserved entirely and is basically a moment in time. Traveling here would be like walking through a museum. Pompeii was the sexual capital back in the day, so seeing light poles in the shape of the male member is not uncommon at all.
