Inspired by the story of P.T. Barnum came the movie "The Greatest Showman". This movie is an original musical that shows the birth of a business and visionary who came from nothing and created something spectacular.

Grab your friends and family for this sensational movie that took 7 years to make, that will tell you a story that will put you on your feet and teach you multiple life lessons along the way. "This is the greatest show!"

1. You need to chase your dreams.

If you sit back and watch life happen, none of your dreams are going to come true. Barnum was not happy with his life and always longed for something more, so he got up and created something the world had never seen before. We all have dreams and aspire to be something greater than ourselves, get up and make it happen.

2. People make mistakes.

We are all human and all make mistakes. Barnum made a mistake of leaving his family to go on tour with Jenny Lind which landed him in a bad situation, but as soon as he realized he was wrong he returned home. Family is family and will forgive you if you make mistakes, but you must fess up to these mistakes and not keep them hidden away.

3. You can't care what others think of you, as we are all unique in our own ways.

"When the sharpest words wanna cut me down, I’m gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out, I am brave, I am bruised, I am who I’m meant to be, this is me.” Be proud of who you are and don’t let others’ opinions bring you down. No matter what the color of your skin may be, or your hair color, body weight/shape/size, we are all different. Being different makes us unique as there is no one like us in the world and that is what makes us special.

4. You can be whatever you want to be.

From when he was a little boy, Barnum had a dream: “I close my eyes and I can see the world that’s waiting up for me, that I call my own.” The world he dreamed of was one where people were unique and embraced their differences, the circus was what he would dream of although he did not know it yet. If you have a dream, the only way it will become reality is if you try and make it a reality. You can do whatever you want to do in life, as life is what you make it.

5. Family is important.

No matter how great your career may be, or how famous you become in your life, remember who was there from the start. Barnum did not realize it, but he was focused more on his money bringing his family happiness, rather than himself being there for his family to support them morally. Don’t forget where you came from.

6. Music can bring us together.

After you watch this movie, I guarantee you will have the soundtrack on repeat. Sing along with your friends and family to the words and true meanings of the songs, trust me, it’s a bonding experience.

This is a show you do not want to miss.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
