As college students, we all snack much more often than we actually eat real meals. Our dorms are full of food and, yet, we never seem to have the food that we're craving. In order to avoid this problem, make sure to keep a supply of these six foods in your room at all times.
1. Popcorn
Whether you're watching a movie or just trying to get some homework done, popcorn is a great and filling food to keep around. Plus, the unpopped bags take up very little space in an already cramped dorm.
2. Ritz Crackers
You can put anything on these crackers. Whether you have a jar of peanut butter, a jar of Nutella, cheese, or even tuna or chicken salad, these crackers are great to eat anything with. They're also pretty yummy by themselves.
3. Granola Bars
Granola bars are a must. Whether you get the delicious and exponentially less healthy ones dipped in chocolate or the regular kind, granola bars hit the spot. Granola bars are also one of the few foods that can act as a snack food and as an on-the-go breakfast when you wake up late for class.
4. Pringles
Who doesn't love Pringles? Pringles are so much better than regular potato chips, yet I really couldn't tell you why. They come in dozens of different flavors and are super cheap to buy. Somehow, Pringles always satisfy the hungry stomach.
5. Ramen or Single Serve Mac N' Cheese
These easy lunch items are perfect for when you're cooped up in your room with homework during lunch or for when you sleep past the time for brunch on the weekend. They're also great for a midnight snack when you miss meals throughout the day and need something more substantial than the other items on this list.
6. Something Sweet
Whether it's one of my personal favorites, popsicles, ice cream, or Girl Scout Cookies, it's a necessity to have something sweet around for those days when all that you want is dessert.
