1. Yes we know that we get more than enough attention.
From the day we were born, we got attention for being the newest baby. For the rest of our lives, we will be the "baby" of the family. So no matter how old we get, we will still be seen as the youngest, and therefore the cutest.
2. We NOW know we got spoiled when we were younger, but we didn't back then.
Growing up, it was hard to see that we got spoiled since all we cared about was ourselves, but to my sisters, I now realized that Mom and Dad did lean in my favor for a lot of things. But I honestly, did not notice it back then.
3. Through our eyes, we feel like we were the ones to get treated unfairly.
When you're the youngest, your siblings have it out for you, so it became easy to feel like everyone was treating you unfairly. We most likely weren't, but you could see how we would think that.
4. The family dynamic is a lot different than through the eyes of the oldest sibling.
From the eyes of the oldest to the eyes of the youngest, the family dynamic is extremely different. It's almost impossible for two or more siblings to grow up with the exact same parents and live the exact same experiences. Through the eyes of the youngest sibling, we saw more than anyone else did.
5. We feel everything a lot more than the rest of the siblings.
Being the youngest, it is easy to just observe and stay quiet, so that is what we did. We noticed everything and more importantly, felt everything that was being said and done.
6. Mom and Dad, yes were still the baby, but we are grown now.
Yes, were the youngest and we love it, but we just wish our parent's saw that we are now grown. We can make our own decisions and fend for ourselves, but will always be your baby.
