Ah, studying. Whether for an exam, midterm, final, reading, or a paper, the lives of college students basically consist of studying and more studying. However, it is incredibly important to take breaks in between studying, and eating a snack is definitely the best part of a short break. Here are the best snacks to help you power through studying.

1. Gummy bears

While obviously not the healthiest snack there is, gummy bears can actually help you study! The sugar will keep you awake, and let's face it: How can you not want gummy bears when you're stressed?

My tip: Instead of eating these during a short break, I eat one or two gummy bears after I finish an important task. Typically, if I have a lot to read, I will eat them after I finish a chapter.

2. Chocolate

Again, not another healthy snack. But who doesn't love chocolate? Chocolate will seriously take any stress off your mind!

My tip: I like to keep a bag of Lindt Chocolate on my desk and eat one when I'm really feeling stressed.

3. Popcorn

A healthy alternative to gummy bears and chocolate, popcorn pairs so well with a day filled with studying and homework! With an abundance of flavors, you can never run out of new ways to add popcorn to your study habits.

My tip: Kettle corn is the healthiest (and the best!) flavor of popcorn. It's my favorite!

4. Goldfish

Your favorite childhood snack is now your best friend when it comes to studying. Goldfish make for a lightweight, delicious snack that will keep you going through a day (or night) long study session.

My tip: Baby goldfish or Parmesan goldfish are my go-to flavors! The flavor-blasted are also really good, but cheesy fingers don't make for great studying.

5. Lemonade

Ideal during fall or spring studying (sorry winter!), lemonade is the perfect drink! It will keep you on your toes, keep your brain alert, and it just tastes so, so good.

My tip: The best lemonade is Hubert's Lemonade! It's perfectly sweet and every flavor (blackberry, raspberry, strawberry, original) is incredibly tasty!

6. Peace Tea

So many flavors! Green tea, razzleberry, Georgia peach, caddy shack, sno-berry, sweet lemon, the flavors could go on forever. A super delicious (and cheap) alternative to any other drink!

My tip: Sno-berry is the best flavor! It tastes exactly like a blue raspberry Jolly Rancher.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
