6 Aspects That Make Life Worth Living

Life is not always easy. Maybe you're struggling with balancing work with friends in college or maybe you're having trouble managing your money properly. Whatever it is, it is very possible to get overwhelmed with the responsibilities that you have to fulfill. Life can be difficult. But, don't forget that it can be fun at the same time. Here are six little things in life that you should live for and remember, no matter how much you're struggling.

1. Good weather.

Nothing makes life better than a warm, sunny day where the skies are clear and there's a subtle breeze. Good weather shows that there is beauty in life, and it can lead to a much better day ahead of you. Good weather will always improve your mood; it brings a magical, almost otherworldly, quality to life.

2. Friends.

Having friendships is by far one of the best aspects of life. From hanging out with that joyful, crazy friend who has tons of great stories to tell, to talking to a wise friend that always has good advice to give, friends can really make your life special. Friends can be a source of support in hard times, and they embrace all of your quirks and flaws.

3. Humor.

Finding something to laugh at, no matter how small it is, can spice up life quite a bit. Humor could be laughing at a great joke someone has made, laughing at an awkward encounter, or just laughing at the absurdities of life. Having a great sense of humor will improve your attitude towards the smallest of troubles, and it makes you a more fun person to be around. Humor is a simple, and yet effective way of livening up life, and it can bring so much joy into the world.

4. Opportunities.

No matter where you go in life, you always have an opportunity to do great things. Whether it is reconnecting with an old friend, applying for that job that you've always wanted, or working out to improve your health, life offers an almost innumerable amount of opportunities to better yourself. Regardless of where you are and what you're feeling, every day has at least one small opportunity to alter the way that your life is going. Taking advantage of these opportunities can lead to a vastly more meaningful and exciting life.

5. Music.

Music is a massive part of what makes life so great. Listening to your favorite song in the morning could brighten up your day, and it gives you the strength to forge on with life. Music makes the world far more exciting than it usually is, and it adds a particular type of atmosphere, depending on what song you listen to. Music can be angry, sad, happy or surprising, and it is something that can connect everyone, no matter who they are.

6. Accomplishments.

Completing projects can lead to a strong sense of achievement. Working hard on a task and then completing it can make you feel like your day was not wasted. Accomplishments can be major or minor, and they lead to a more well-rounded life that has been subjected to many great experiences. Accomplishments make you feel better about yourself, and they give you something to be proud of.

Life is full of struggle. In addition to dealing with the stresses of college and socializing, people also have to worry about their finances and family. Life can be hard, but it can also be full of wonder. Good weather, friends and humor can improve the quality of life massively, and opportunities, music and accomplishments can make life better, too. In general, it is worth it to live life, and seemingly unimportant facets can lead to a more fulfilled person. The world sometimes makes living hard, but it is always worth it to just experience life.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
