When you are in college or have a demanding job it can be difficult to find the time to sit down and read. If you're like me reading a major passion in your life, but because of my insane schedule I do not always have the time to pick up a book and just read for hours. For a while, I just couldn't read for pleasure anymore and I was really sad about it, so I decided to find some alternatives to get me reading again. I am hardly without my phone, so I thought looking for apps would help me, and it did! I found these six great apps that are great for busy people, because it is all on your phone!
1. Goodreads
Goodreads is an app for iOS and Andriod users. This not an app with books on it, but from it you can read reviews and talk with other book lovers about that book. So, if you have a book that you absolutly adore and you really need to talk about it, and your friends don't like it or want to read it, I promise you you'll find group here that loves it here just as much. Or if you are looking for a new book to read, you can read the reviews to see what people are saying!

2. Shelfie
Shelfie is for iOS and Android users. I am someone that loves to read books over and over, so this app is really handy. With Shelfie you can take a picture of the books on your shelf and see if there is a free online copy that you can download on your phone for easy access. You can also look through others shelves to find books for yourself.

3. Scribd
Scribd is avaliable for iOS and Andriod users. On the app, you have the option to pick from to over a million books plus documents like academic papers and presentations. This app is great for those that don't have the time to sit down and read, because you can just read on your phone between classes or before a meeting. You also have the option to offline books so you can read without wasting data.

4. Marvin
Marvin is for iOS users only. Marvin is an eBook reader with many ways to customize your reading experience. This app has great organization that you have the option to change and move around. You can connect to apps like Google Maps and Dropbox from the app to keep connected. This another great one for those that don't have a lot of down time.

5. Kindle
The Kindle app is for iOS, Android, and Windows users. Many people think that you need to have a Kindle from Amazon to create an account, but if you just download the app you have all the same abilities as those with the gadget. All you have to do is have an Amazon account! Millions and millions of books are on Kindle from new releases to the classics. Luckily many of the classics are free, however, you would have to pay for the newer books (Usually it's cheaper than buying them at the store.).

6. Wattpad
Wattpad is available on iOS, Android, and Windows. Wattpad is great app for aspiring writers. On the app, you have the ability to create your own stories or just read one's that others wrote. All the books on Wattpad are not published are written by users of the app. There are many genres to pick from and you can create a 'library' to store the books you like. Not gonna lie, some books can be really awful, but some are completely amazing.
