I may or may not be serious about these.

Some days, most days, I wish there was more time in a day. I have so much that I want to do with so little time to do it. Yes, we have 24 hours in a day; however, we have to sleep at some point. Initially, 24 hours seems like plenty of time. But, think about it. If you subtract sleep, subtract school, subtract work, or even subtract the time it takes you to complete your simple morning routine, you will surely realize we truly have so little time to do anything extra that our hearts desire to do. One thing I remember my mom always saying to me is, "Kristin, you want to do everything. That's good, but you can only say yes to doing so many things. You only have so much time." I mean, if I'm being honest, she still says this to me. As much as I hate to say it, she's right. With that being said, here're 50 Things I Would Do If I Had More Time:

1. Read. Read. Read.

2. Write a screenplay.

3. Teach myself how to do a cartwheel.

4. Pet an alligator.

5. Take more sign language classes.

6. Paint a watercolor composition.

7. Perfect my pottery wheel skills.

8. Make more music videos.

9. Write more articles.

10. Go to the zoo.

11. Visit an aquarium.

12. Draw an extremely detailed elephant.

13. Challenge Will Ferrell to a comedy battle.

14. Ride a camel.

15. Write letters to the president about my opinions.

16. Conduct a science experiment.

17. See if I can succeed as a lyricist.

18. Watch all episodes of Grey's Anatomy without taking a break.

19. Meet Ellen Pompeo.

20. Meet Ellen.

21. Be in Ellen's audience.

22. Be on Ellen's show.

23. Get a pet. Maybe a sloth?

24. Paint a self-portrait.

25. Start a photography business.

26. Do all the 5k's.

27. Fully fill out my Facebook profile and update it.

28. Redo my room.

29. Finally catch up on all of that laundry.

30. Visit all of my relatives.

31. Write a memoir.

32. Write a novel.

35. Make more pottery.

36. Read the Bible in full.

37. Take more Philosophy classes.

38. Take more Digital Media Arts classes.

39. Take more art classes in general.

40. Go to South Africa.

41. Go to Seattle, New York, and Disney World.

42. Write a book of poems.

43. Meet Brad Paisley.

44. Meet Carrie Underwood.

45. Be Carrie Underwood's best friend.

46. Learn a new language.

47. Make up my own language.

48. Go sailing.

49. Skydive.

50. Sleep.

Some of these I'm not so serious about. Some of these I'm halfway serious about. And, some of these I'm completely serious about. Want to know which ones are which?

Well, I guess you'll just have to figure that one out for yourself.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
