Nothing can suck more than moving. Don't get me wrong, I love moving to new places and experiencing new things, but the actual move sucks. There are boxes stacked up everywhere, you have to find out where everything goes, sometimes you have to condense, and it is just a lot of work.

For those who are able to hire movers, you guys are lucky and got the going up and down the stairs part out the way. I have been moving most of my life, and it is no cakewalk.

Here are some thoughts most people had while moving:

1. "Why do I have so much stuff?"

2. "Where can I get boxes?"

3. "Who used all the packing tape?"

4. "Why does it have to be so hot?"

5. "Why are there so many stairs?"

6. "I hope we don't have crappy neighbors."

7. "Man, the parking sucks here."

8. "Do I even need that?"

9. "I'll put that to the side for now."

10. "I might need that in the unforeseeable future... Maybe."

11. "Could this fit in the truck?"

12. "How far is it from my job?"

13. "This is not the time to be sentimental about things."

14. Wow, I have so much garbage.

15. "I haven't worn that in the past two years."

16. "Never knew I can drink this much water."

17. "Is there any food places near me?"

18. "I am just gonna take a little break."

19. "Okay, that break took way longer than expected.

20. "Can we have a food break?"

21. "Why am I moving again?"

22. "I wonder if my friends will help me."

23. "I wonder how much I can carry at once."

24. "I better be in good shape after this."

25. "This is a true workout."

26. "Why am I sweating so much?"

27. "Hey! I found that thing I lost years ago!"

28. *Starts going through things from your childhood*

29. "Ugh, I hate the feeling of dried sweat."

30. "I am going to promise myself to be more organized in the new place."

31. "There seems to be cleaning than moving."

32. "I appreciate everyone who is helping me move."

33. "Yes, I promise the housewarming party is going to be awesome."

34. "If only I could figure out where everything goes."

35. "This places looks so bare."

36. "My body hurts so much."

37. "I am just going to sleep on the mattress today, and then set up the bed tomorrow."

38. "Just leave the boxes anywhere, I will have to move it anyway."

39. "Leave a path to the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The necessities."

40. "Well, the move is done."

41. "Ugh, time to unpack."

42. "I should probably find my clothes."

43. "Maybe tomorrow would be easier."

44. "If I lay here for 10 minutes, it will convince me to start moving."

45. "...Or it can make me more tired."

46. "No! I have to get something done at least."

47. "I can fix the kitchen! I need food!"

48. "I still feel tired"

49. "Oh, look, it is night time now."

50. "I'll just pick it up again tomorrow."

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
