50 Things To Thank Your Boyfriend For
Jennifer Banko

Having dated my boyfriend for more than a year now, there have been countless things I should have thanked him for,but never got the chance to. So instead, I’ve compiled a list of 50 things we should all thank our boyfriends for.

1. Listening to the endless tales of girl drama

2. Never making fun of the amount of coffee you intake on a daily basis

3. Supporting you no matter what you are doing

4. Telling you when you are wrong, even if it’s not what you want to hear

5. Continuing to love you, even after all of those ugly Snapchat photos

6. Always smiling whenever he first sees you

7. Being your hiking partner

8. Always being up for an adventure, no matter when or where

9. All those cute texts he sends you

10. Always remembering your anniversaries

11. Allowing you to be your own person

12. Encouraging you to do your best in everything that you do

13. Letting you steal some of his snacks sometimes

14. Being so sweet and thoughtful

15. Remembering the little things about you

16. Being your shoulder to cry on

17. But also helping to provide solutions to your problems

18. Being such a great role model for your younger sibling

19. All those amazing back massages

20. Watching scary movies with you, even though he doesn’t like them

21. Watching :High School Musical 3" countless amounts of times

22. Never complaining when you’re running late

23. Playing with your hair

24. Giving you great shows to watch on Netflix

25. Always calling you beautiful

26. Pigging out on junk food with you

27. Cuddling with you whenever

28. Not getting mad when you double, triple, quadruple text him

29. Not getting mad at the insane amount of instagram photos you post of him

30. Understanding your legs aren’t shaved all of the time

31. But listening to you complain about them not being shaved and being stubbly

32. Letting you pick which shows to watch

33. And which movies to watch

34. Texting you all of the time

35. Loving you, even when you can’t love yourself

36. Kissing you goodbye always

37. Introducing you to all of his friends

38. Especially the ones who are girls

39. All of the stupid things he does just to make you smile

40. And then telling you how much he just loves when you smile

41. Looking at all of the pointless things you tag him in and send him over social media

42. Always liking your pictures on Instagram

43. For all the small, yet significant, compliments he gives you

44. Insisting you look nice, even when you’re 100 percent sure you don’t

45. Always making you feel like you’re smart enough

46. Always being down for a chill, relaxed date

47. Letting you steal his sweatshirts

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
