5 Ways To Warm Up For Spring

Like me, many people like to kick their Spring off with some new activities... almost like a fresh start to go with the fresh weather. Here's a list that can help you start yours!

1. Spring Cleaning

Who doesn't love freshening up living space while organizing key areas of their life? It doesn't just have to be whipping out the chemicals, it could simply be de-cluttering the your brain as well.

2. Start Gardening

April showers bring May flowers, right? Whether you plan on building garden boxes, planting on some open land, or placing herbs in the windowsill, this is nature's time to shine!

3. Outdoor Yoga

We may not all have the flexibility, but it's never too late to try. Doing this exercise in the elements truly makes it feel more spiritual and nurturing for the body.

4. Cooking New Foods

Since this is the time of year when weather is about to bring color to the Earth, trying introducing new colors to your plate! Fruits and vegetables are healthy for your diet and are a great ingredient in culinary experimentation.

5. The Priceless Pedicure

Okay, so it's not priceless as in free. However, when you're heading into the season for open toed shoes it's always nice to keep your feet feeling refreshed and clean. Home-remedy recipes for foot scrubs are easy to explore through websites like Pinterest, and can be a great way to save money as well.

Hopefully you liked this list and it can find a way into your own personal way to warm up for Spring!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
