Tis the season . . . ABC's perennial favorite and unmistakable guilty pleasure "The Bachelorette" is back. Obsessed viewers, including myself, have been anxiously awaiting this season's premiere after the heartbreaking finale of last season's "The Bachelor." Fans around the globe are thankful that the reign of Arie Luyendyk and his cringe-worthy behavior is finally over.

Fans were equally excited with the announcement of Becca Kufrin as the new Bachelorette, which honestly came as no surprise to "The Bachelorette's" cult-like following. Do not worry Becca, we all knew you deserved better than the needy, attention-seeker Arie who ultimately broke your heart.

No matter the season, or whether it's Becca, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Joelle Fletcher or one of the many other ladies who we have gotten to know over the years, I pay close attention to the bachelors who try to win over the bachelorettes' hearts. What makes each one different . . . what do they have in common? Interestingly, I have found that many of the bachelors have quite a few similarities from season-to-season.

I have analyzed this season's bachelors and determined the most consistent features that seem to carry on with every season of "The Bachelorette." Here is my guide . . . bring on the men!

1. The athlete

Former football players or athletic trainers seem to be one of the most popular choices for consideration on "The Bachelorette." They are so commonplace that I cannot remember all who I have gotten to know while watching the show over the past few years. Maybe it is their charismatic personalities, All-American good looks, or quiet sensitivity that wins our hearts, but whatever it is, athletes are always a fan favorite. I will say, this season's former football player, Colton, has won my heart already. Remember Jordan Rodgers? He is a former professional football player and currently engaged to former Bachelorette, Joelle Fletcher.

Just gonna leave this here!

2. The eccentric career

During the last season of "The Bachelorette," one of the bachelors listed his career as "Canadian." Canadian . . . is that a career? How about "Social Media Participant" which is also listed as a career by another creative bachelor?

Every season there is always a handful of men with a career you did not know could even be considered as one. The one this season that caught my attention was a "Colognoisseur." Who knew you could turn your cologne obsession into a career? Speaking of careers in general, imagine having to ask your boss for time off and this show being the reason why. Awkward!

3. The risk-takers

This season's premiere introduced us to a man in a chicken costume . . . how unreal? I give major props to the men who have the courage to meet their possible future wife in an outlandish costume on national television. And to those who hate on these types of guys, it seems to catch the Bachelorette's attention so maybe you should learn a thing or two from them.

4. Pretty boys

I swear "The Bachelorette" casts some men just for laughs and drama. The show keeps these men around until the last few episodes, but they never seem to end up being "The One." We know these types of contestants from past seasons as Chad from "The Bachelorette" or Krystal and Corinne from "The Bachelor." There is a lot of drama but not a lot of substance.

The pretty boy that caught my attention on this week's premiere was the one and only male model, Jordan. He kind of reminds me of a Ken doll (no offense). I have never met or seen a boy who could only keep a conversation if it was fashion related, that is, until this week's episode of "The Bachelorette." By the way, your grey suit did not make you stand out Jordan.

Do not get me wrong, I love watching the pretty boys that are cast on the show, but sometimes I just do not understand them.

5. The sweethearts

Dear Blake . . . you have won my heart with your kind spirit, good looks, and how you paid attention to and connected with Becca. If only all men were like you. He is the epitome of every girls' dream husband, I promise you.

Every season, there are a few men like Blake who seem extremely down to earth compared to the other contestants. And let me tell you, these are my favorite ones.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
