1. Athleisure

The year of comfy clothes. Gone are the days of heavy Converse sneakers. Adidas shoes and track suits became trendy again and hopefully it will stay this way in 2017.

2. Over-the-knee Boots

2016 introduced us to high over-the-knee boots, and they should be a staple throughout the winter season as well. Something about them makes the outfit look high fashion and make your legs look amazing.

3. Boyfriend Jeans

Basically the denim version of sweatpants. Here's hoping the trend hasn't run its course just yet.

4. Choker Necklaces

Some people may want 2017 to put an end to the choker trend, but it's a great small and simple accessory that can really pull together any look. This year they've evolved from the black plastic string to decadent charms and studs. Like they say, accessories are always key.

5. Mirrored Sunglasses

Mirrored sunglasses give an extra edge to standard glasses. Sunglass trends this year ranged from strange shapes, styles and and designs, but mirrored lenses have the potential to becomes classics.
