5 Thoughts We All Have While Watching 'The Bachelor'
ABC News

So, I guess that fourth time is the charm for everything, right? Well,if you are Nick Viall, the latest contestant on "The Bachelor," then it must be. This reality television show never fails to bring drama to the television screen as thirty girls battle for one man's heart, well, not actually battle, but ABC sure makes it seem that way. Whether you are simply a hopeless romantic or can't stop watching for the drama, we have all experienced similar thoughts this season while watching "The Bachelor."

1. Corrine. Enough said.

It never fails that ABC must always have a villain every season, and for Nick's season it just so happens to be the cheese pasta lover, Corrine, that also has a nanny and runs a multimillion dollar business. Did I also mention that she is only twenty four years old? She clearly has accomplished so much, am I right? Between her pep talks about how it is going to "get weird for all of the contestants," naps during rose ceremonies and her bouncy castle stunt we all can't help asking ourselves, "Is she just doing this to be famous? Is she even ready for a relationship yet?" We may never know, but we could always ask her nanny, Raquel, that must clearly know the true answer. Am I right?

2. Fourth time's the charm?

I'm sure that everyone is fully aware that Nick has been on "The Bachelor" for the fourth time. So, what exactly was ABC thinking when they offered him this spot? Bachelor Nation may never know actually. But, besides that, here's to hoping that the poor guy finds his other half this season.

3. Where in the world do they find these girls?

Whether you want to admit it or not, and we all know that that you feel that all thirty of the contestants are simply gorgeous. I can't help but ask myself, "how many of these girls are looking for an acting/modeling career or an actual relationship?" Hint, hint, Liz and Corrine. Two hours of drama every Monday night is enough to help you make it through the week awaiting for the next Monday, but only for "The Bachelor" of course.

4. How can you not love all of the contestant's careers?

It's always entertaining to see where the contestants are from and their careers. However, while some contestants have the occupations of being a nurse, photographer or even a sales representative, there are others that hold the distinguished titles of being a pro basketball dancer or even an aspiring dolphin trainer. If you have ever questioned if there is an occupation out there, just check the cast list because I could guarantee that you'll find it in any season and not just Nick's.

5. Reality television?

I can't help but asking myself "how much of this is staged and how much is real?" Nick running into an ex-girlfriend while on a hometown date with a contestant is just pure luck, right? Or how about the fact that Liz came onto the show to see if her and Nick still had a relationship?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
