Spring is in the air. The flowers are blooming and the sunshine is beaming down on our faces. It is that time where the birds are singing and we are itching to get out of class, so we can go outside to enjoy the sun. Spring Break is only two weeks away and we cannot be more excited to not doing anything and let our brain take a rest because let's face it, if we try to mash anymore informative in us we might start to lose it a little. Here are five things that we all think about the weeks before spring break.
1. Tell me again when Spring Break is and how can we obtain it faster.
As the professor drones on, we cannot help but make that blank face we make during class while we are listening to the professor lecture.
2. Please tell me I do not have tests back to back the last week before Spring Break.
The moment you find out that in fact you do have mid-terms in every single class throughout the week before Spring Break and your heart breaks a little when you glance at your syllabus.
3. You start counting down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until you have left until you are free.
T minus 14 days! Although, it seems like forever because you literally watch the clock tick by waiting for that wonderful moment your professor dismisses class.
4. The moment you are determined to pass all of your tests even though your brain is fried.
Let's do this... even though I could fall asleep in this chair and my brain is too packed with this material. I cannot mash any more information in my head or it might just explode and ain't nobody got time for that.
5. The moment you are free and you go to your happy place.
It is time to go to your happy place and switch off your brain for a week, and just try to relax. You can now binge watch Netflix, which we all love and we can start tanning again because let's face it, we are all starting to look like ghosts.
Let's all hope we pass our mid-terms and start living a carefree week. Some of us are going to the beach or just staying home with their family, but whatever you do, sleep all day, eat whatever the heck you want, watch as much television as you want, and dance like no one is watching. Remember, what happens during Spring Break, stays at Spring Break.
