1. Your boss doesn’t hesitate to vent to you.
If you are youngest in your office, a lot of your coworkers might find you easier to talk to. So when they are having a particularly stressful day or have some juicy gossip to spill, you are the first one they go to. You might also be the most observant, so you hang back and see how things play out (but you always have the inside scoop). You are also able to see the different relationships going on in the office.
2. You automatically get stuck with doing the things no one else wants to bother with.
3. No one really believes you work there and assumes you're someone's family member/ are constantly being re-introduced.

4. You're the youngest person at the office parties besides the waiters.
I had never gone to my offices holiday party before, I usually don't go because I know there won't be anyone my age attending. This Christmas I decided to go and like I thought, I was the only person in their twenties while everyone was about in their early forties/fifties. The people the closest to my age were the waiters who no doubt looked at me in confusion or assumed I was someone's plus one. I sat and watched- living what was one of the funniest/awkwardest times of my life.
5. Not only are you responsible for your work but you're also the offices tech support (WiFi fixer).
As millennials, we are often put in charge of helping those that are not as technologically inclined. Whether it be figuring out why the WiFi isn’t working or how a wrong click on the keyboard turned your coworkers computer icons into gigantic blocks. And once you’ve helped one person it starts a chain reaction until you're the go to for everyone's computer problems. Even if you don’t know the answer everyone assumes you do.
