As Clarion University students, we all know that the school is incredibly small, incredibly cold and weird things happen rather frequently. In a small, rural college town, you only have so much to do and so many people to see. However, we seem to make the most out of it. Not to mention Clarion does have several perks that we can overlook. Here are 11 things that every student can relate to.
1. First unseasonably hot day of the semester, expect everyone you know to be at the river:
No matter how muddy the river is.
2. Braving the crowd at The County Seat after a night out:
The food is worth it, and the perfect hangover cure.
3. Accepting you will slip at least once on campus during the winter:
Winter is coming. Prepare yourself.
4. Still having to go to class, even in -20 degree weather:
The apocalypse could be upon us and we would still have class.
5. Seeing someone you know no matter where you are on campus:
"Can't tell if I'm at a really small school, or I am just really popular."
6. Expect to see a fight if you go to McDonald's after 2 a.m.:
The post bar crowd can be deadly...
7. Getting REALLY excited over new specialty burgers at Daddy's:
A burger with jalapeno poppers on it?! I'll take it...
8. Looking forward to Autumn Leaf Festival for the entire year, and feeling lost once it's over:
No more dollar-slice pizza at Vinny's... what drunk food to get now?
9. Being able to party hop every weekend:
"What's up dude?! I just came from across the street!"
10. Taco Tuesday:
Enough said.
11. Enjoying our small school size when its 2 a.m. on a Friday night and a friend sees you had on too many but they got your back:
"Dude... let me help you home."
Ahhhh Clarion, what would we do without you?
