They say that Disney World is the most magical place in the world and if you've never been there you are missing out. There are certain things that you must do in order to get the most out of your vacation to Disney World. The memories you make in Disney will last you a lifetime, and once you leave you will already be planning your next trip. Here are some things you probably want to do and see at Disney World to have the best experience:
1. Take a picture in front of Cinderella's castle
Everyone on your instagram feed would be so jealous that you're spending your time at a literal princess's castle while they are at home. Plus it will probably fit into any aesthetic you have on your feed!
2. Watch the firework show at Magic Kingdom
July 4th fireworks are nothing once you see the beauty of the fireworks at Disney. The different colors help portray the magic that Disney is known for. If you look close enough, you might even get the chance to see your favorite Disney characters up in the sky!
3. Eat at the Whispering Canyon Café
Although all of the restaurants at Disney World are family friendly, this one probably cuts the cake. When you order a small soda they will serve it to you in a thimble and when you order a large soda they bring it out in a barrel. The waiters and waitresses are really friendly since the restaurant has a southern theme and they are not afraid to give you and your party nicknames like "little flower", "big daddy" and "sweet pea". The best part of it all though is when you want ketchup. You have to scream "KETCHUP" and everyone who has ketchup on their table has to run over and put it on your table until there's no more room on your table for food.
4. Pin Trading
Getting the chance to run around Disney World with a necklace full of pins is great. You get to stop different cast members and ask them to see their pins, in hopes to find one that is way cooler than yours. Pin trading gives you a chance to socialize with the cast members and makes you excited to see what's next. It also gives you the opportunity to trade a pin that you didn't really care about for one that is extremely cool.
5. FastPass a ride
All of the rides in Disney World are life changing experiences, but the amount of time that you will stand in line waiting for that ride doesn't even add up to the time you spend on a ride. Say the ride you're most excited for is Soarin' and the line is an hour and 20 minute wait; you spend most of your day on a line instead of going on as many rides as possible. With a FastPass you get to cut the line and your wait will probably be ten minutes rather than an hour and 20 minutes!
All in all, Disney World is the most magical place on Earth and these are just a few of the many things you should do on your vacation. Make the most of it because the second you walk into the park the amount of happiness you will feel will be contagious! Be a kid and make this trip as amazing as you can!
