Growing up, I always dreamed of finding my "Prince Charming" and about how perfect my life would be. But, I never thought about how much my future Prince Charming would be teaching me about myself... until I met him.

1. Self-love

Not only did he teach me how to open up my heart and to love again, but he taught me how to love myself just as much. When I feel at my worst, he turns it around and makes me feel my best.

2. Never doubt yourself.

In a world full of judgment and hate, it's easy to get caught up in all of it and doubt yourself. But, because of him being my number one fan and supporter, he assures I can do anything with him by my side.

3. Be grateful for all the little things.

These days, people get all wrapped up in the social media "relationship goals". But with him, the little things are what makes our relationship so great. The "drive safe" texts and the goodnight kisses are what helps keep our relationship so strong and keep us so close.

4. It's important to be best friends, too.

It's always nice to find someone you're attracted to and them liking you in return. But, it's even better when you can be best friends too. He becomes your go-to person to talk about the latest drama. He makes you laugh endlessly, and you know that he'll never judge you no matter what.

5. Smile often.

We are always so easily caught up in the negativity life creates. But with my boyfriend, I can't seem to ever stop smiling anymore. Even on my worst days, he can make me smile and it's a great feeling.

Honestly, the list could go on and on forever. Talking about my boyfriend and everything he does for me on a regular basis just makes me so grateful to have him and makes me feel like the luckiest girl alive (because I am). Thank you for teaching me that there is more to life than what's on the surface and to enjoy all that life has to bring. Whether it's the ups or the downs, every day is a new day to spread some love.

Shoutout to all of the other boyfriends out there doing the same and are constantly motivating their girlfriends to be a better person and for being their number one supporter. You'll never understand how much we appreciate everything you do. Thank you for everything. Don't you dare think that all the things you do go unnoticed. You make us so happy and truly make us better people. Thank you for being the best part of us.
