I finished Gilmore Girls today. Yes, I did cry my eyes out. Yes, I have been binge-watching the show every day. One of my roommates had to put an episode limit on me. That's how I know I've had a problem. Now that I have finished the show, I can finally do these things:
1. I can get my homework done early.
I usually get my homework done just before it's due. With my attention away from the show, hopefully I can start getting it done a day or two earlier than I have been.
2. I can finally start going to the gym (or not).
I've been saying all semester that I'll start going to the gym. The odds that Gilmore Girls was actually stopping me from going? Not high. This point was more of an optimistic goal for myself.
3. I can start taking naps again.
I took a nap just about every day last semester. I'm not saying that I want to continue doing that, but I've only taken about three naps this semester, and I'd like that number to increase.
4. I can write more.
Maybe my brain will finally be free to generate writing ideas. Less focus on the television, more focus on what I want to write about each week.
5. I can start a new show.
This is most likely to happen. I bounce from show to show, and within a week I will probably have a new obsession, and my roommate, Emily, will have a new episode limit for me.
