If you are a music enthusiast like myself, waiting for your favorite artist to release their long-awaited album definitely has a process, with stages and all. Add a concert coming up to the mix and it can become the longest period of time. Below you will find what I have categorized as the five stages of waiting for your favorite artist's album release.

1. Pre-ordering the album online a month in advance and you can almost hear the sweetness of the first track...

2. Constantly surfing the Spotify page for new singles, hoping today is the day you will find it...


3. Checking the artist’s Instagram page daily…maybe even hourly… for updates...

4. Actually listening to the album for the first time, now hearing the sweetness of the first track...

5. Finally, listening to said album over and over again...
