We all know how stressful registration can be, it's essentially like the hunger games but for classes. If your registration time is too far ahead or too far after, you risk not getting any of the classes that you may need to graduate. Or you could be stuck with the world's worst schedule and professors. I am here to tell you that when you are going through registration and the five stages of it, you are not alone. College students everywhere can feel your pain and relate to these five stages.
1. WTF Do I Do
What classes do I have to take? When do I take them? Who do I take for them? How do I fit everything into my schedule? What is registration...?
2. Stress Is My Only Friend
Not only can you not answer any of those questions from the first stage, but you have to still do your homework for your current classes, go to practice, go to social events, and well do life. All the stress of the upcoming registration and having to fight for classes is just adding to your everyday stress and that's like stress overload.
3. Neglect Is Best
You decided to just not with this one. You haven't picked any classes out and your advisor meeting is tomorrow. But, oh well who cares you'll figure it out right?
4. I'm Not Graduating
Oh we have all most definitely felt this one before. You have no classes picked out, your registration time sucks so I guess you are graduating. You begin planning your life around not having a degree and it doesn't seem that terrible you guess.
5. Get Your Sh*t Together
The final stage where you decide it's time to get your shit together. You've waited long enough to pick your classes out and at this point you've accepted that you'll have to figure out the whole graduating thing even if you have to take terrible professors. This is the stage where you realize it's all going to be okay, you'll get your classes by any means necessary, because your shit is definitely together.
