5 Songs That Can Change My Day

Music can change the way my day goes in the three minutes that the song is on the radio. If I am sad, my day can instantly be changed just from one song. So with that being said, here are 5 songs that make me happy and I hope will make you happy.

1. "Can't Stop The Feeling" by Justin Timberlake

The song's upbeat feel can instantly change the way I feel. This song makes me want to dance every time I hear it especially when I am jamming out in my car as I drive down the road. Not to mention Justin Timberlake is one of my all time favorite artist.

2. "Crazy In Love" by Beyonce'

Beyonce' is an amazing singer and dancer and I love her music. Ever since I was younger this song has been one of my moms, sisters and my favorite songs. Every time the song comes on the radio we all begin to dance and sing to the top of our lungs. The songs very upbeat and makes me smile every time I hear it.

3. "How Great Thou Art" by Carrie Underwood

How Great Thou Art is one of my all time favorite songs because of the message within it. It is not an upbeat song like the first two but it always shows me what I need to see while listening to it. Not only do I love this song but so many people in my family love this song. Not to mention anything Carrie Underwood sings is amazing because she is an amazing woman.

4. "Confident" by Demi Lovato

This song is one of my favorites because of the message she portrays in her lyrics. I love that the song is telling girls to be confident because having self confidence is important. It is also very upbeat and makes me want to dance (if you haven't noticed I like to dance a lot)

5. "From The Ground Up" by Dan & Shay

This song is very sappy but I love it because of the message the lyrics give. This song talks about the grandparents love and what they wanted to find for their lives. These two guys can sing very well too.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
