College is filled with meeting new people from all different backgrounds. You may feel like you are constantly surrounded by a lot of people but here are a few signs to tell you that you found your college best friend.
1. You send each other Bitmoji's
You know you have found your best friend when you are completely content sending each other various Emoji’s and Bitmoji’s.
2. You can have the deepest conversations
Sometimes college isn’t always about going out and being with a large group of people. You know you have found your best friend when you can just sit down when everyone is going out and have deep conversations. You will share your deepest stories with someone you just met a few months ago which makes the entire college best friend process so interesting.
3. You text each other to do everything
If you text each other to eat, walk across campus, go to the gym, go on a coffee run or go to Target you probably have found your best friend. It’s always better to have a best friend to do things you could easily do by yourself. Sometimes you will just be sitting in your bed and need to text your best friend to see where they are. The best part is when you haven’t seen your best friend all day and you reconnect and act like you haven’t seen each other in years.
4. You can laugh with and at each other
If you can’t make fun of your best friend and laugh at all the things that happen, you probably haven’t found your best friend. Best friends can tell you what other people are thinking or they can tell you all the things you don’t want to hear. Everybody needs to find best friends who can make fun of them but who can also support them. Your best friend will start to like the same people as you and you will weirdly know everything they are thinking in such a short period of time.
5. You text each other funny moments when you’re home
You know you have found your best friend when you constantly text each other funny moments that occur when you are home for break. You will see something or hear something that you can’t wait to tell each other. You even become so close with each other’s friends from home it feels like they are your friends.
Life is filled with friends and memories but you will know when you find your first college best friend. The memories you make will last a lifetime and you will be shocked at how you became best friends with someone who was a complete stranger a few months ago.
