Ever since I was 12 years old and I got my first pimple, I have been searching high and low for successful skin care products that won’t break my bank account. After 21 years of existence, I have learned that no such thing is possible. However, I have tried more skin care products than I can name, most of them ending up in the garbage can. For those few products that do work, I will continue to use over and over until the day I die.
When I say I have tried everything, I mean it. Out of my group of friends, I sampled all of their skin care products or even bought my own to try out. Few have lasted through the test and I think it’s time to share with the world some of my favorite products that have not only transformed my skin, but my life. Obviously, all skin types are different. I have extremely oily skin, but all of the products listed below have helped bad skin for all my friends with different skin types. I hope you can find one that works for you!
1. Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Cleansing Pads
These pads are my favorite and only way to wash my face. I have one set in my shower, one by my sink, and a backup at all times. With one pad, it offers two cleaning options. One side is for exfoliating that I use to scrub areas where my skin has the most breakouts, such as my nose and cheeks. The other side is soft for cleaning off eye makeup or sensitive areas of the face. I use these pads every other day.

2. Olay Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid Lotion
This is the lotion I use after I shower or wash my face with the Aveeno pads. This lotion is great because it does not leave a thick layer on your skin after you apply it. It is a thin lotion that sets into your face to make it soft.

3. Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment
Pimples are inevitable. Blackheads are a worst enemy. Even those with the best skin have them every once in a while. Thank goodness for makeup that can help hide certain skin imperfections. If and when I do get a pimple, I instantly cover it with this spot treatment. You can see results overnight. It is great for a quick go away for any forming zit. It is the definition of a zit zapper and the tube lasts forever. You only need a small amount, which goes a long way.

4. Hollywood, California Glam Glow Super Mud Clearing Treatment
Finally, time to mention my must have. This mud has changed my life and I bought it before ever trying it. My roommate got a sample and showed me her face after applying it and I was mind blown. You could see the mud pulling out the dirt inside the pore. My favorite part is that you can feel it working. I use this once or twice a week. It can be used as a spot treatment or a facial. This is my go to facial that I treat myself with to maintain my clear skin I have from all of the products I have mentioned. As a team, they do wonders!
Cost:$70 at most places but you can get it for under $50 on Amazon. The more you look the better price you can find.
5. Hollywood, California Glam Glow Thirsty Mud Hydrating Treatment
The only downfall to the Super Mud above is that it dries out your skin. Luckily, this partner product does exactly what the label says. It quenched the thirst of your skin. You can use it as a lotion or a hydrating facial. I primarily use it as a facial after I use the Super Mud as a facial. Leave it on for thirty minutes and then rub into skin. You instantly feel refreshed and your skin feels like it had its own personal shower.
Cost: $60 most places, but can get it for under $40 by searching the same as the Super Mud.
All of these products have transformed my skin. I can personally say that I feel like everything was money well spent. These are products I will continue to use as long as they are around. I hope you have the same luck as I do.
