I'm sure you've all heard of it already, but Pokemon Go is taking over, and I am obsessed. I am constantly checking my phone to see if there are any Pokemon in the area, and I have been walking so much. I would recommend this app to anyone and everyone I know. If you haven't already checked it out, here are some reasons why you should.

1. It encourages you to exercise.

In order to find and catch Pokemon, you have to walk to find them. You also can hatch eggs that require you to walk a certain distance before they will hatch. I've seen a 2 km egg, 5 km egg, and a 10 km egg. Since i've gotten the app I have taken my dog for a long walk or bike ride every evening, sometimes even more than that.

2. You get to spend time outside and explore places you might have never seen before.

I've gone to various parks in my area just so I could get to some Pokestops to get supplies, catch Pokemon, and to get my steps in to hatch the eggs.

3. It's exciting to try and catch all the different Pokemon.

I'm constantly trying to catch the Pokemon I don't already have, even if it's the farthest away. They don't show you what the Pokemon is until you catch it, so you have to guess by its shape. For me that makes me want to catch it more just so I can see what it is.

4. You can easily meet other people who are also playing Pokemon Go.

Almost every time I have played Pokemon Go, I have run into other people playing the game also. We just start talking about the game and then begin laughing because we look so funny while playing it.

5. It's a lot of fun.

I can't remember ever getting this into a game before. I'm constantly opening the app and trying to figure out if there are any Pokemon in my area or any eggs that I can hatch.

So give it a try. You might find that you like it a lot more than you expected!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
