As we carry through life, we may encounter faces we wish we hadn’t and we sometimes struggle to make relationships with the people who are constantly surrounding us. There are so many different types of people, that you’re bound to want to do away with some, if not most. Some of us simply aren’t people persons and so, we rely on our furry friends to fill their places. Here are just five reasons why dogs are better than people.
1. They'll never judge you.
Aren’t you tired of having to worry about what you’re doing or how you look doing it when people are around? Don’t worry about putting on any makeup or brushing your hair; your dog thinks you’re a majestic creature regardless. Your dog doesn’t care that you just embarrassed yourself by singing in the shower or how much food you just ate. Besides, your furry pal knows he could probably out eat you.
2.They'll always be loyal to you.
In this day in age, people don’t have time to worry about fake friendships or people who simply don’t support you throughout this rollercoaster called life. After coming home from a huge blow-out with your boss, friend, or family member, your dog will always be there to hold your hand (or paw) and will be your cuddle buddy at the end of the night. They might not understand it all, but they’ll always listen to you.
3. They are always happy.
Nothing compares to coming home after a long day and having your dog to cheer you up. Their tails are always wagging, tongues are always flapping, and they're happy to roll over for you, despite your unpleasant mood. Your companion is an instant mood booster and they never fail to make you smile, even on your toughest days.
4. They appreciate the little things.
When you say the word “walk” or “treat”, it’s like your dog just won the lottery. They couldn’t be more excited to go on this everyday adventure that we humans take for granted. They’ll never show more gratitude than when you rub their belly, feed them an ice cube, or throw them a ball. After the tireless hours of slaved and unnoticed work in the office, your dog couldn’t thank you enough for opening the door to their crate.
5.They give you unconditional love.
Your dog will always aim to please you and to be your loyal companion. They will thrust their fluffiness upon you as soon as you walk through the door and they’ll lie next to you, when it’s time to call it a night. Your dog thinks you’re a superhero, even if you don’t think so of yourself. They’re your number one pal, your sidekick, and best friend. It’s an unbreakable bond that comes just once in a life time, when you get to pick your own family.
