4. Katy isn’t afraid of color

Despite her famed lyrics, "you think I'm pretty, without any makeup on…" we all know, Katy Perry wears a good amount of makeup. But that's one of the reasons we love her. 

Katy wears colorful eye shadow, bright pink lipstick, and giant eyelashes. Those big, blue eyes are the perfect palettes for fun makeup. Most people can’t pull it off, or won’t even try, but Katy is never too shy to be bold and colorful.

3.     She likes glitter 

What girl doesn’t love glitter? 

Katy uses it in her makeup, her clothing, her hair, and in every other detail of her concert. Everything, from her microphone stand, to her jewelry, to even her stunt cables, sparkles with rhinestones and glitter. She even had a watering can that she used to pour glitter on the front rows of her stands at her last concert….
