From their exotic sound to their slow merge into the mainstream, Twenty One Pilots is beginning to take over the sound of alternative music. Here are 5 reasons Twenty One Pilots are without a doubt going to be on your next party playlist:

1. The Guys

Meet Tyler Joseph and Joshua Dunn. Both hailing from Columbus, Ohio. The duo began their magic together in 2011, after two original members of the band left the group because of busy schedules (smh). Luckily for fans, Tyler and Josh exploded with compatibility. Aside from their unmatchable talent, the guys share a love of Taco Bell, witty humor, and their hometown. Even if their sound isn't your style, it would be hard not to like these two.

2. The Music

With Tyler's original, hard hitting lyrics and Josh's unbelievable energy on the drums, Twenty One Pilots have created a sound unique to mainstream music. If you enjoy rap, love ballads, ukuleles, scream-o, techno, reggae, or intelligent lyrical placement, Twenty One Pilots is the band for you! Their music allows for fans of eclectic tastes to celebrate raw, powerful art in the most simplistic, fun-loving form.

3. The Fans

Twenty One Pilots have a relationship with their fanbase like no other group before. Tyler and Josh have been known to stretch their sets out long enough for question and answer sessions for the fans. The passion they have for their music is only met by a firey adoration for those who support them.

4. The Family

Tyler and Josh are definite family men! Featured on the cover for their third studio album, "Vessel," are Tyler and Josh's adorable grandfathers. Josh has frequently spoken about his love of his mother's BBQ skills. Also, Tyler was recently married to his longtime girlfriend, Jenna. Everyone loves a man who loves their family, right?

5. The Shows

Twenty One Pilots puts on a show incomparable to any other band. With dangerous (probably unprofessional) stunts, sky-high energy, and immense crowd interaction, a Twenty One Pilots show is bound to leave you exhausted and begging for more tickets. They know what their fans want and even more so, how to recruit new fans. To miss out on an opportunity to experience their music live is to miss out on living. They will not let you down!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
