Boyfriends can be great. You can wear their oversized sweatshirts and maybe get a free meal out of them occasionally, but boyfriends have limitations that your roommates just don't. Oversized sweatshirts are great, but you know what's better? A closet full of actually cute clothes you can borrow for when you have nothing to wear.
2. There's no need to worry about appearances
No need to do your hair, put makeup on, or even a bra on when you're chillin' with your roomies.
3. No one is better at having an impromptu dance party session.
Sometimes you just need a dance party to get you through the day, and — no shade intended — roommates are just better at it than boyfriends.
4. It's kinda like having a sleepover, but all the time.
You can stay up all night and tell secrets, eat candy, talk about how lame boys are, but then again you do have class in the morning.
5. You can completely be yourself around them
No one gets to see all sides of you the same way the people you live with do, and for that reason you can be completely yourself around your irreplaceable roommates.
