Let’s face it, Ms. Pope is the most intense female I have ever seen. Not only does she have time to conquer the political world, but she also has time to for the man, or should I say men, in her life too. She’s extremely fierce and never takes no for an answer. She is loyal to her gladiators, and would do absolutely anything for her friends.
" Scandal" is by far one of my favorite TV shows. With a strong female lead like Olivia, it’s almost impossible not to love it. Now I guess I can be honest, I am a very big pushover. I struggle telling people no, even when I know I am overloaded with so many other things. But hey, if Olivia can do it, I can do it.
1. She is effortlessly beautiful all the time
I mean let’s be honest, who stays up all night working on a case and then in the morning, still looks like a million bucks; Olivia Pope. The world around her could literally be falling apart and she still holds everything together, all the while, looking beautiful as ever.
2. She always gets it done
No matter how hard the job is, Olivia always gets it done. It’s where the famous quote, “It’s handled” came from, and she sure does handle it. Regardless of what her team is facing, or what the U.S. is overcoming, she is always there.
3. She completely demands a room when she walks in
She is one of those women that can simply walk into a room and everyone’s eyes are automatically drawn to her. She demands your attention with every word, and always leaves you wanting more.
4. She doesn’t play by the rules
She can definitely hold her own with the big dogs, but she plays by HER rules, and everyone knows that. It is her way or the highway, and she is totally fine with you walking out the door, because she knows you need her. It may not be the most conventional way of doing things, but it works for her.
5. People respect her and fear her
She is the most respectable “fixer” in Washington. People know she handles things with grace, and they respect that. At the same time, she holds a lot of respect, but people know you do not cross her. They are always afraid if they are up against her, knowing she does not lose often.
