This week marks the first week of a month that should be considered a national holiday...That’s right it’s November. This month provides 30 days of bliss, from the season change to getting into the holiday spirit, there are many reasons why the 11th month is the best. I’m here to tell you five reasons that November tops all months.
1. Fall is in full swing.
That’s right ladies its time to break out the cute sweaters, scarves and ugg boots. This is the month of leaves falling off of trees and colder fall weather. From crisp frosty mornings to evenings spent by the fire place, you seriously can't beat this time of the year. If we are lucky by the end of the month Upstate New York could be witnessing some snow.
2. Thanksgiving!!!!
What a great holiday, most students get at least 3 extra days off to go home and see their family. This holiday is about celebrating all that we are thankful for in our lives while watching football and eating a great home cooked meal. Not only do you get a good dinner, you also get dessert, can't forget the pumpkin pie! It’s every college students dream, need I say more?
3. Black Friday
So us Americans are a little crazy...Just a mere 24 hours after we tell the world what we are thankful for, we fight at the stores for the best deals on Christmas gifts. Normally this means waking up before the sun comes up and driving to your closest mall to shop until you literally drop.
4. Day-light saving time ends
Hello, extra hour of sleep. It’s that time of the year again where we “fall back” and set the clocks back an hour. One of the only downfalls with this is that it gets dark earlier.
Of course I saved the best reason for last..
