Today's female young adults are limited when it comes to admirable female role models in the spot light. The media promotes women that are nothing short of a hot mess and should in no way, shape, or form be what teenage girls aspire to be.
Recently receiving quite a bit of media attention, after her proposal video went viral, is Peyton Thomas. Peyton Thomas, soon to be wife of UGA football star Jake Ganus, is a woman that our youth should aspire to be like.
1. She Is Successful.
Peyton, and her mother, recently started their own boutique called "Thirty-One Boutique". The boutique went viral and is currently doing extremely well! Thirty-One currently ships across the country and Peyton said they are working on international shipping. Thirty-One Boutique offers adorable, classy, and affordable clothing for girl, and I totally recommend checking them out.
2. She Is A Woman Of Faith.
Peyton's boutique is named after her favorite bible verse Proverbs 31:30, which reads, "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Peyton states that Proverbs 31:30 is the verse they go by. In fact, when they package their apparel they include a large Proverbs 31:30 sticker in the order.
3. She Empowers Other Women.
In today's society there always seems to be harsh competition between females. In a previous interview she stated, "I've just always wanted to stay engaged with people and give people the time of day, because sometimes that's all it takes – giving someone advice or encouragement ... I try to stay engaged with our followers and talk to them and build relationships with them, because at the end of the day, if you build a relationship with them, they're going to come back. That's what I've been trying to do ... stay humble and be nice to everyone because people love when you're nice to them. It makes them feel warm and fuzzy." Peyton also mentions how she wants Thirty-One Boutique to promote healthy body images and confidence. She also aims to include clothing that can be worn by both petite and plus size girls. I mean seriously, this woman goes above and beyond.
4. She Is Loyal To Her Family And Friends.
Take one look at Peyton's Instagram and it is obvious how important her family and friends are to her. She is constantly showing love and support to her fiancé, sisters, parents, and friends. I think I speak for many when I say that we all wish we were friends with Peyton.
5. She Perfectly Embodies Beauty And Brains.
I don't think I need to do much explaining on the beauty aspect of this statement; Peyton is drop dead gorgeous. On the brains side, Peyton recently graduated from the University of Alabama Birmingham with a degree in communications. And even with her recent outburst of fame, she has remained extremely humble.
