I have loved Alessia Cara for awhile now, and think she is one of the best voices in music today. That being said, I feel like the world has been sleeping on her incredible talent, even with her recent popularity gained from her performances on SNL this past weekend. So here are five reasons why she's amazing.

1.) Her unique voice

Seriously, I could listen to her song the phone book and rate it 11/10.

2.) She is the Queen of musical impressions

I mean, just watch this video. You won't regret it.

3.) She's down to earth

Even the way she dresses for performances is just so chill and classic. It feels like she's performing for her group of friends in her backyard, in the best possible way.

4.) Her songs are so relatable

I first heard her song 'Here' when I was struggling with severe social anxiety, and just listening to it made me feel so much less alone.

5.) She's only 20

Seriously!? How is this much talent in so young of a person!???
