Every college kid loves coming home for weekends, or even on random days. But the best is when everyone comes home from school and you get to reunite with all your friends, family and people you haven't seen since August. It's truly amazing to rekindle old friendships, catch up with family and sleep in. Seeing your whole squad from high school, and party/hang out with them again is incredible because you get to see how they've changed and you get to hear all about their college experiences so far!

1. Coming Home

Hands down the best part. Seeing all of your old high school friends, all of your siblings, parents and family members. It's truly the best time to come home because Thanksgiving brings your WHOLE family together, so you really get to see everyone and catch up with old friends and family.

2. FOOD!!

Coming home and having a home cooked meal is the best thing, but throw a Thanksgiving feast on top of that, and every college kid is beyond happy. For a couple days there's no more dining hall food and no more easy mac.

3. Sleeeeep

Sleeping in over Thanksgiving break is the most relaxing thing. It doesn't get better than waking up in your own bed, whenever you want to- not for a class. Honestly it's okay to sleep until 1pm over break, totally acceptable. WE UNDERSTAND.

4. Rekindling Old Friendships

Seeing all your friends from high school, catching up and hearing all about their college experience is so incredible. Just months ago, you knew everything about these people but now it's time to learn about all of their new friends, classes and just about their life these past four months!

5. Driving!!

For the people that don't have a car on campus, you understand being behind the wheel for the first time since forever. Even if you have your car on campus, just being home in your car is so different from at school. You know every back road and every short cut- it's good to be back!
