Whether you are in your first year or final year In college, almost anything you do now will affect your career trajectory in the long run.

In between trying to maintain good grades, building relationships and having a social life, it might be difficult to maintain a sane and organized life in college, but if you are equipped with the right tools to get about your day, you just might live a simpler and more productive life on campus.

Here are ten quick steps that would simplify your life and a more productive student going forward:

1. Plan your tasks

Most persons especially students find it difficult to get anything done because they fail to plan.

As a college student chances are you have an abundance of things that need to be done. Organizing and planning your tasks would give you an overview of what you need to get done and how best to do so.

2. Prioritize

If you are always faced with a lot of tasks, chances are you will not be able to execute several of them which is why you must prioritize.

It might not be easy to choose to execute some tasks at the expense of others, but sometimes taking the scale of preference will be a necessary evil.

3. Act

The best thing you can do for yourself is to execute on a plan as soon as you have the chance to.

Delaying on carrying out a task for unnecessary reasons often lead to an unending chain of procrastination which is productivity’s number one enemy.

4. Minimize social media

You don’t have to be on Facebook all the time to be a sociable person. In fact, if you find yourself spending an unhealthy amount of time on social media, then your social life is taking the toil of it.

Restrict your time on social media to checking on friends, networking, and research.
