Yeah, I'm that person: the one weirdo that actually listens to podcasts. But, if you want my opinion, here are five of my all-time favorite podcasts (in no particular order, of course).

1. Stuff They Don't Want You to Know

This is the podcast that I listen to most often, and I think it's my favorite out of all of these. The topics they cover include everything from the European Organization for Nuclear Research, known as CERN, to UFOs, and if you're interested in conspiracy theories, true crime or anything in between, you'd be a fool not to listen to them at least once. I promise you'll be hooked.

2. Stuff You Should Know

Another podcast under the "How Stuff Works" umbrella, this one deals with completely random topics to current events. Typically, the episodes are kind of hit or miss for me (either I'm interested in the topic that day, or I just pick an older episode). However, they have such a vast selection that you're bound to find something you'll like.

3. Ridiculous History

I recently discovered this podcast from an ad on a different one, and I've loved it ever since. This one is very similar to "Stuff They Don't Want You to Know" (it's made by some of the same people), but instead of being mysterious and foreboding, some of the topics this podcast covers are just as the title implies: ridiculous. You'll definitely get a kick out of this one if you're a history buff that wants to explore some more niche things.

4. Serial Killers

This is the podcast that I probably listen to the least, not because it's bad (on the contrary), it's just a little freaky. They have voice actors who play very convincing serial killers. This podcast deals with the murder cases and the psychology behind why they were committed, which really fascinates me.

5. Dear Sugars

If you're looking for advice or just need a comforting "conversation," I highly recommend "Dear Sugars." This podcast addresses the heartaches of its fans and has made me cry on numerous occasions. These guys tell it like it is.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
