Homework. We can’t get by in college without doing copious amounts of it. So, instead of doing work in your room, or in your dorm’s basement, why not check out these five spots to study, where you know you’ll be productive?
1. Snell
Snell Library is the most intuitive study spot on campus, as that is what it is there for. Each floor is customized to suit different students' needs. There are endless resources such as the 3D printer, recording studio, and rows upon rows of books. Snell is also home to Argo Tea if you need a quick refreshment while studying.
2. Curry Student Center
We may only think of Curry as a hub for food and a bookstore, but its three floors give us multiple opportunities to do work. If you get tired of Snell or just want a change of scenery, Curry is definitely the place to do work.
3. Rebecca’s
Rebecca’s Café, our safe haven from the dining halls, may be one of the best places to do work. Sure, it gets noisy and busy, but if you get there at an off-time when there are not many people, you can get things done while savoring those chicken tenders.
4. Classrooms
When classes are over for the day, you should definitely take advantage of the empty classrooms all over campus. Whether you want a quiet work environment or a place to host a study group, an empty classroom is a great place to work.
5. Centennial
When it’s warm out, definitely take advantage of Centennial. The sun will motivate you to do more work, and what better place to study than the center of campus? Surrounded by green space and bustling students, all you have to do is look up for a refreshing view.
