Pinterest is always full of interesting do it yourself (DIY) projects. However, while some can be totally awesome, others can just straight up stink. Luckily, I have become an avid Pinterest user since summer break started and now want to show you some DIYs I've found, have done in the past and had a blast doing so or think could turn out to be the best DIY you have ever made.

1. DIY bath bombs.

Every girl loves a good bath bomb, but why go out and spend tons of money, when you probably already have all of the necessary ingredients at home? Recipes can be found here. My personal favorite is the Mermaid Shell Bath Bombs.

2. DIY wine bottle lamps.

Every college student has an empty bottle of something lying around. Recycle your used bottles into a cool lamp that shimmers and glows. Instructions are found here.

3. DIY laundry room change jar.

Most people hate carrying change. Personally, I save all of mine in a jar and then bring it to the coin machine at the bank when I'm short on cash. Make a simple jar like this to store your change and keep it in your dorm for laundry money!

4. DIY lapdesk.

Laptops easily overheat when they are on top of cloth. A lap desk prevents that and makes it way easier for you to hold your laptop and be comfortable at the same time. In order to make one of these, you can view the instructions found here.

5. DIY magnetic makeup board.

Searching in a bag or a drawer for your makeup is time-consuming and such a hassle! If you create this board, you could cut minutes off of your morning routine.
