In my life, I have moved a lot of times. I've gone through dorm rooms, houses, apartments, town houses, and duplexes. So, as the end of the semester approaches and you're wondering how you're gonna manage packing AND finals, here are five tips to make your last few weeks easier.

1. USE DORM ROOM MOVERS!!

Sorry for yelling, but this is very important. If you're moving out of your dorm room and need a place to store your things for the summer, use Dorm Room Movers. Basically, they send you packing supplies, you load up your stuff, they pick it up, they store it safely, and they deliver it to your new residence next year! How crazy! The boxes are spacious, and I've literally fit my whole life into the five they send.

2. Don't just throw things in boxes

I know this seems obvious, but it's SO important to keep things together. It'll help you with moving out and moving back in. Organize your boxes!

3. Only pack what you'll need

Nothing is more stressful to your parents, friends, or whoever you're traveling with than when you start loading up the back of the car with duffles on duffles on duffles. You only wear like three outfits a week anyway... don't overdo it.

4. Set out clothes

Okay, honestly, you're probably packing during the week before finals. You really only need one week of clothes. Set out what you need for that week, wash it if you need to, then wash it before your travels and shove it in your duffle. Then you won't have to unpack stuff that you just organized because you didn't plan ahead.

5. Be careful with your Command Strips

This hasn't much to do with packing, but it's in the spirit of the moving season. I know they're supposed to be the trusty steed of hanging materials, but Command Strips will rip dorm room paint off! Be VERY careful when taking them off, especially when your dorm has damage fees!

If you loosely follow these few tips, then you should be good to go to move out of your dorm, your apartment, or your house at the end of the semester! Happy packing!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
