Life goes on
This is true. Life will continue to be created. It will progress, it will improve, and innately work will be done to choose peacefulness. It is a bad saying because for some life does not go on. For some, today is the last day. Today is the last day to say I love you. It is the last day to feel a warm heart. It is the last day to live. It can be daunting and reckless. And it can be beautiful. It can be the one thing to hold onto at the end of each day. Life will go on, but at times it is best to remember the moments when we felt like it would not.
Dreams come true
I do not know you, but for me if I was walking down the street and a large oversized crab like dinosaur started to chase me I would freak out. My hope, my wish is that dreams do not come true. Dreams can come true and I believe in following them. However, the other night I began to fall off a mountain and as I fell my fear woke me. I was relieved to be awake and happy that my dream did not come true. My life is my truth. Follow a passion, an aspiration, and turn goals into reality.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me
Words hurt. It is not easy to hear the hard truths of life.
“This job is not for you”
“We are going with a different candidate”
“I am sorry”
“I love you, but you are not the one”
“I hate you, I wish you were not my sibling”
A sister or a brother are strong figures and can sometimes push their respective sibling to an edge. Saying the words, “I am sorry” is not easy, too. It is swallowing pride and some times it can be harder to forgive. Sticks and stones will break our bones, but our bones will heal. The words we choose to use can be hurtful and hard to recover.
Do not break a promise
Moses is the example of a bond broken between man and god. In Numbers 20:11 Moses deliberately disobeys God. He does not listen and “Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out.”
Trust me, no one can trust any one. It was like God had spoke that to Moses. Moses had such little faith in that tapping the rock would bring water to the people of Israel. He instead raised his staff and broke the rock. This broke his promise, but not his faith in God. To honor thy parents is a mitzvah, to listen is an act of appreciation. Moses was punished for not listening, and he was praised for showing the people of Israel it is about following not leading.
Break a promise. Show someone how much one person can care and how much one person can equally not. There is ever-lasting bond between man and God. It can be broken and as easily fixed.
In the end everything will be ok
The end is going to be chaotic. A supernova blows up the entire solar system. It sounds like white noise. It sounds like screeching. It sounds like destruction in the pursuit of serenity. In the end everything will not be ok. In the end everything will be the beginning. The beginning of a new journey, a new path. If marriage was the end then no one would get divorced. If death was the end then no one would die. People die. The end is like when the Cavaliers won the championship. It is a chaotic off-season. They celebrate and party the victory of a championship, but come this October is a new season with a new team and a new champion in the year 2017. The end is the beginning. At the beginning everything was not ok. There was darkness. In the middle everything will be ok.
