5 Netflix Series All College Students Should Binge-Watch

For those days where you are procrastinating or taking a break, and you really need a show to watch and forget about all your responsibilities.

5 Netflix Series All College Students Should Binge-Watch

With the very little free time college students may have, utilizing it by watching Netflix seems to be a popular option. Netflix offers a wide variety of movies and television shows to choose from, including a vast amount of genres as well. These are just a few of my personal suggestions that every college student should watch if they are struggling to find the next show to binge:

1. Grey's Anatomy

This is by far Shonda Rhime's greatest masterpiece, and she sure knows how to break people's heart through this show. Although, everyone always seems to come back for more. This show is basically one that by now most normal people have watched, so if you have not seen it, get to it; especially all you pre-med majors (like myself)!

2. Scandal

This one is for all you political science majors, or just people looking for a riveting drama rooted in the nation's capital with some of the most powerful people in politics (and company). This show takes you through all the twists and scandals of the oval office, and all the people who comprise the nation's capital.

3. How To Get Away With Murder

This show is definitely one for those looking for an intense drama. It follows the path of a lawyer and her five students The amount of plot twists and jaw-dropping moments this show has is insane. It is definitely binge-able as you'll get hooked after one episode, and it always keeps you wanting more.

4. How I Met Your Mother

With stress of work and school, this show is definitely one that will provide some comic relief. This show is filled with laughs and hysterical moments, and is sure to put a smile on your face. This is definitely a good show to binge when you are overcome with stress and need a good laugh.

5. One Tree Hill

This show is fun to binge watch as it is so easy to get caught up in the show that you do not even realize you watched six episodes in one sitting. The first few seasons explore the dramas of high school students, but after season 4 it gets into adult life (in which all college students are dreading). This show is great for those Friday nights where you would rather stay in bed and eat your sorrows of the week away.

These are just a few shows that are binge-worthy for all college students. From drama to comedy to all the in-betweens, these shows cover it all. As you can tell, I am a big Shonda Rhimes fan as three of the shows listed are her's, but no one can disagree that she is a mastermind (an evil, heartbreaking mastermind). So next time you are staying in on the weekend to rest from a long week, these are a few suggestions for your bingeing pleasures.
