As the holidays come on through, you are usually left with a ton of food left over. Now, if you're in school like I am, getting leftovers to take back to school with you comes in clutch. It saves you so much money and lets be real, it's probably better than anything you can cook - because mom/grandmas/whomever's cooking is to die for am I right? The bad side to having a ton of leftovers? It can become kind of redundant eating the same thing over and over. That's where I come in handy, here are five recipes for left over holiday food to help you cook your way through those delicious leftovers.

1. Crunchy Turkey Bake
This is a delicious way to warm up on a cold winter day. It's easy, its quick and who doesn't like that!
Taken from the Mr. Food website, the recipe is as follows:
- 1 pound leftover cooked turkey, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
- 2 (15-ounce) cans mixed vegetables, drained
- 1 10.75-ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (8-ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise Coupons
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 1 cup French-fried onions (from a 2.8-ounce can)
It's definitely one you'll have to try!
2. Potato Puffs
If you're anything like me, potatoes are one of Gods gift to earth. Something cheap, easy and everyone will enjoy is a good ole potato puff:
- 3 pounds Idaho Russet potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1 large onion, chopped Coupons
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup cracker crumbs
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
Take it from me, you'll want to make these even when you don't have left overs!
3. Cranberry Chicken
There is something so delicious about poultry and fruits. Maybe it's the whole sweet and savory thing - like fries and a milkshake you know? But anyways, chicken (or turkey) and cranberry is a must have in the winter season:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 (3- to 3-1/2-pound) chicken, cut into 8 pieces
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Coupons
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1 (16-ounce) can whole-berry cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
4. Thanksgiving Leftover Casserole
This is the epitome of leftover cooking. It's got a little bit of everything and a lot of deliciousness!
- 2-3 c. leftover turkey, shredded
- 1 1/2 c. cranberry sauce
- 3-4 c. leftover mashed potatoes
- 2 c. corn
- 1-2 c. turkey gravy
- 1/3 c. milk
- 4-5 c. leftover stuffing
- 1/4 - 1/3 c. chicken broth (or to taste)
5. Cranberry Pocket
For the sweet tooth in all of us, enjoy these for breakfast, as a snack or as dessert! Because lets be real, there is no thanksgiving leftovers without some sweets to munch on after:
- 1 (15-ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 (8-ounce) container cream cheese, softened Coupons
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
