5 Fun iPhone Games to Cure Your Summer Boredom
Stocksnap

It's summer time, which means some of us will have to spend all summer long figuring out how to cure our boredom when we come home from work. Why let all that precious free time escape your hands? Here are 5 games to relieve your constant boredom (and some of my personal favorites)!

1. Tiny Tower

This is my all time favorite game! The goal is to build your own tower and personalize it any way you want. First, you build apartments, and then the people, called Bitizens will move in. You can then build more floors such as food, retail, and service floors, and you can then hire your Bitizens to work on those floors. As you buy more floors, it will cost more coins, but keep on moving in those people and you will be pretty successful! There is also a Tiny Tower Vegas version as well! It's the same thing, but Vegas style, baby!

2. 100 Floors

This is more of a game that takes brains and intelligence. Your task at hand is to solve a puzzle on each floor. When you successfully complete the puzzle, the elevator will open, leading you to the next floor. Each floor gets more difficult to complete, and you may need to use one of your free passes.

3. Aerox

You have to move your phone in different ways in order to play. There are ledges in the air that you have to keep your ball on, otherwise it will fall. There are different obstacles in the way as well, and you have to use your ball to move them out of your path. You then have to move your ball into the blue glowing circle at the end of the level in order to move on to the next one. Warning: this game may make you nauseous; it definitely does for me.

4. Quiz Up

Trivia lovers, this game is perfect for you. You can be paired up with a random player or one of your friends. There are over 100 different categories, which makes this game never-ending. You can choose any topic of your interest, from movies such as Mean Girls, to academic subjects such as history. Basically, you could spend hours on this game and not even notice how much time has passed.

5. The Akinator

This isn't as much of a "game" as the others, but it can be pretty entertaining. The Akinator, who is a genie, has to guess who or what you're thinking of. He'll ask you endless questions, and no matter how difficult it is, he finds a way to guess what you are thinking of. It's pretty amazing.

I hope you give these games a try because I love them and they can keep me entertained for hours! Hopefully, they'll make your summer that much better!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
