It's that time of year again where you light up those comfy fireplaces, decorate the house to accommodate the upcoming festivities, and bring the family closer together to end the year off right. We rejoice during these times, as well as stress out over what needs to be done. The last thing we want on our minds is what family drama will emerge and who will cause chaos this time around. We can try to keep our cool but we must prepare ourselves for the inevitable. Here are the five family members you'll have to deal with this season:

1. The Perfectionist

This could be anyone, but there is always that one relative that goes above and beyond, even if it's unnecessary. They stress themselves out to the point where they just can't deal with the holidays anymore. They boss everyone around to comply with what is on their agenda and disregard all else. They will also want to be recognized for all the work they did, and will not let you eat until you acknowledge it.

2. The Constant Downer

You know who this is! That one special member of the family who thinks the world revolves around them and them alone. When they ring that doorbell and you see them at the door, you can't help but moan and groan about them coming in. Throughout dinner, they go on about how miserable they are and how they can never catch a break. You love them to pieces, but you sometime just wish that they would just let someone else take the limelight for once.

3. The Ghost

This relative always happens to pop in when all the festivities are over and just eats what is left over. They don't like to communicate much but they will stay for a chat if any food is involved and leave shortly after. You know family gatherings are like chores for them, but they feel obligated to come anyway to avoid any drama.

4. The Angel

This relative deserves a whole other category of crazy family members. Yes, they dedicate their lives to the service of others, but they won't ever shut up about all the things they have done. They brag for hours on end about all the things they are doing for the greater good and meddle into a conversation to switch the subject back to themselves. To top it all off, they lecture you about how you should stop being lazy and start doing something great for someone else for once. You admire their work, but wish they would be more genuine about it.

5. The Drama Queen/King

Enough said. They are the ones that know everything that goes on in the family, and only want to feed the flames. They talk endlessly about everyone's juicy secrets around the family living room wile the person who they're talking about is in the kitchen. They are ruthless and hold nothing back. They just want something exciting to happen between those cousins that haven't spoken since last Christmas. It makes for great memories, but in the meantime you are just done.

Your family is your life, but sometimes you just can't deal with them. You will always share blood with them, but they can also make you question where they come from. Embrace the holidays with your crazy, almost-functional family because these people are in your life!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
