Spring Break is bound to get boozy, but that doesn't mean you have to spend all of your hard-earned cash on outrageously priced mixed drinks and expensive spirits. Fine Wine and Good Spirits is filled to the brim with affordable alcohol (and maybe some not so affordable). Here are five bottles that are actually pretty good and under fifteen bucks!
1. Bacardi Rum - $14.99
Bacardi is so easy to mix with pop and juices, and it gets the job done fast at 80 proof. They do range at the $15 mark, however they are often on sale for $12.99. Try one of their citrusy flavors, like O or Pineapple Fusion, with three parts orange juice for a tropical Spring Break treat!
2. Evan Williams Cherry Bourbon - $13.99
If you're a Jack Daniels fan on a budget, this could be the Bourbon for you! I suggest the cherry, and their signature Cherry Breeze cocktail - 2 oz. of Evan Cherry, 2 oz. of cranberry juice and 3 1/2 oz. of lemonade.
3. Burnett's Vodka - $9.99
Okay, I know, I know - you've probably had at least one rough night due to Burnett's - but maybe you should just give it one more shot (pun totally intended). I mean come on, Pink Lemonade flavored vodka? Delightful... if mixed right.
4. Sutter Home Wine - $11.99
Cheap wine that actually tastes like wine? YAS KWEEN! A 1.5 L bottle is only $11.99 and they have a ton of different flavors. I suggest the White Zinfandel.
5. Seagram's Gin
Seagram's is a classic, but did you know they have a line of "Twisted" flavors? Lime Twisted is the bomb.com. I suggest trying their Twisted Lime signature cocktail, which is 2 parts Seagram's Lime Twisted, 1 part simple syrup and 0.75 part lime juice.
Enjoy your Spring Break, y'all and be safe out there!
