5 New Christmas Albums To Listen To This Year

Christmas is only 2 months away, get excited! While I am a firm believer in waiting until after Thanksgiving to start listening to Christmas music, I know many others (including the rest of my family) start celebrating and decking the halls the second Halloween is over, sometimes even before. I, myself, am even starting to get a little excited for the holiday season to begin. Seeing all the holiday albums coming out this year is also making me very excited. Here are some of the most anticipated albums of the season in no particular.

1. A Pentatonix Christmas

Penatatonix has been crushing the music scene this year and many were very excited with the release of their Christmas album. GOOD NEWS. This one is already released! While their cover of Hallelujah has gone viral, all the other songs are just as great!


2. A Very Kasey Christmas

Kasey Musgrave has been a prevalent figure in the country scene since her hits "Merry Go 'Round" and "Follow Your Arrow" were released, so if you are a country fan, this Christmas album is perfect for you! Available now, so check it out today!


3. Simply Christmas- Leslie Odom Jr.

Now the name might not sound familiar at first... but Leslie Odom Jr. is the fabulous voice of Aaron Burr in the Original cast of Hamilton: The Musical. I'm excited for this Christmas album and you all should be too! It will be available for purchase on November 11th.

4. Christmas Party- She & Him

Another band you may not be familiar with... HOWEVER, I know you are familiar with the lovely Zoey Deschanel (aka Jess from New Girl) and she is the lead female singer in this band! This album is great. It has a very mellow, yet fun indie vibe to it. Listen to it today on Spotify.


5. The Ghosts of Christmas Eve- The Trans-Siberian Orchestra

If you are looking for a more classic Christmas album, this album is perfect for you! The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is one of the most popular Christmas music contributors, and they never fail to disappoint. The album is out now!
