1) Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)
Simian and Raj who travel to Switzerland and fall in love even thought the girl is already set to have an arranged marriage in India. Will he try to get her back while also trying to gain her parents consent? I'm not going to tell you, watch it.
2) Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)
Rahul and Anjali were best friends in college, however when Rahul falls in love with Tina, Anjali realizes that she also loves Rahul and was devastated when he chose Tina. However, several years later after Tina and Rahul got married, Tina dies and their eight year old daughter tries to reunited her father with Anjali.
3) Kabhi Khushi Kahbi Gham (2001)
Yashwardhan Raichand is a wealthy man who believes in following old traditions. He wanted his children to marrying wealthy families as well. However his adopted son Rahul falls in love with a middle-class girl Anjali and when that happened Yashwardhnn was so distraught, he disowns Rahul. Regardless Rahul marries Anjali, and they move to London, along with Anjali's younger sister Pooja. Years later, Rahul's younger brother Rohan decides to go to London and tries to reunite his family.
4) Kal Ho Na ho (2003)
Naina, who is a frankly rude and depressed girl who also comes from a dysfunctional family changes when she meets Aman. But Aman has a serious heart problem and has a high chance of dieing. On top of all of this, Rohit, who is Nainas best friend, also falls in love with her. Who will she chose?
5) Saathiya (2002)
Aditya and Suhani fall in love and they eventually elope and marry because their parents didn't approve. However they soon find out that marriage is not as easy as it seams. Will they try to work things out?
