5 Artists Worth Listening To This Summer

Summertime is in full swing, ladies and gentlemen! With those road trips, lake days, and late-night ice cream trips, new music is always needed for jam sessions. Here are five musicians that are worth checking out this summer! Even if it's not your type of music, it never hurts to listen to something new!

1. Khalid.

In case you haven't heard of him, Khalid graduated from high school in May 2016 and just recently went double platinum on his single "Location." His album, American Teen, came out in March 2017 and has been steadily gaining popularity. He went from 60 followers on SoundCloud to 60,000 listeners at a recent show in Santa Monica. Don't sleep on this dude, give him a listen!

2. HAIM.

These three sisters have been musically inclined all of their lives. In 2013, they released their debut album, Days Are Gone. HAIM made a comeback recently and their next album, Something To Tell You, will be released on July 7 of this year. Be sure to keep an eye out for it, as these gals are brilliant and inspiring!

3. MisterWives.

An American pop band based out of New York City, MisterWives is a band worth listening to. In February 2015, their debut album, Our Own House, was released and gained much attention. Recently, their second album, Connect The Dots, dropped on May 19, 2017. Look them up!

4. Imagine Dragons.

Now, everyone has heard of this band, but their most recent album, Evolve, just released on June 23, 2017. It is worth a listen if you're a fan of discovering new music!

5. Fitz and the Tantrums.

With popular songs including "Out Of My League" and "HandClap," Fitz and The Tantrums has been on the radar for almost 10 years now. They just recently released a summer jam titled Fool. A deluxe edition of their self-titled album will be released on July 28, and I highly suggest tuning in when it's released.
